| It was another busy weekend last week with all comp teams
playing on Sunday due to ANZAC Day being on Saturday. I hope that you all
took time out to remember the Diggers last Saturday. This week will see us resuming normal soccer scheduling, with Junior Comp & Roo-Ball teams playing on Saturday & Senior Comp teams back to playing on Sunday (the old boys of the Over 35’s are playing Friday nights as per usual). With school holidays over & hopefully the weather staying kind to us, we can settle back into our normal routine over the next few weeks and concentrate on playing some good soccer & having fun on the field. The next couple of weeks will see our Team Photo Days being organised & our fund-raising activities commencing with chocolates being distributed to players for our annual chocolate drive so there will be plenty happening off the field as well. Enjoy your soccer this weekend & don’t forget to have fun! Stephen BradburyClub Secretary (on behalf of the Minchinbury Jets Soccer Club committee) |

| Behaviour of Players, Team Official & Spectators: Once again, all players, coaches, managers, officials, parents & supporters are asked to behave in an appropriate manner when at soccer. Our club takes pride in our people setting a high standard of behaviour and we expect that everyone concerned with the club upholds the Codes of Conduct that were signed earlier in the year. Copies of these are available for your reference on our club website |
|
| Wet Weather Arrangements: | |
| If you are concerned with the weather & the chances of
ground closure don’t forget the 3 main ways to check on ground availability 1) Check our club website – www.minchinburyjets.net 2) Check the Blacktown Council wet weather number (ph 9839 6575). 3) Contact your Team Coach or Manager. |
|
| Under 10 Knockout: | |
| The Blacktown Association will be holding it’s annual
Under 10 Knockout on Sunday 17th May. Attendance for our U10 Division 1

| Social Events & Fundraisers | |
| Photos: | |
| Team & player photos will be taken on Saturday 16th May, Sunday 17th May & Saturday 23rd May. We will be distributing information on the photo packs & the photo day rosters to teams over the next week. We ask that all players in all teams make the effort to be available on time for you team photos. Even if you do not wish to purchase photos, the other members of your team would like to have a photo of their whole team to remember the season by. | |
| Chocolate Drive: | |
| Chocolates will be distributed during the first week of May to all players who have elected to partake in fund raising this season. We will be distributing 1 box per family. We thank you in advance for your help in selling these chocolates. | |
| Outstanding Registration & Uniform Fees: | |
| Thank you to the players & parents who have contacted us regarding outstanding registration & uniform payments. For those who have not contacted us or settled the outstanding amount, please contact the club immediately. Players are reminded that it is a condition of registration that all players be fully financial. Failure to pay outstanding registration & uniform fees (without prior arrangement with the club MC) may result in players ID cards being withdrawn by the club and players being unable to take the field. | |
